Fully fitted out as a home away from home, with classic solid wood furniture and sophisticated upholstery. Includes complementary wifi, welcome pack, Scottish toiletries, linen and towels and all utilities.

Please note this apartment is on the first floor and does not have an elevator.

Interior layout

The Master Bedroom is decorated in warm tones and boasts a double bed with view of the garden. The second bedroom is set up as twin beds, perfect for a family.

Parking

Parking is paid on street parking. There is a maximum 4 hours stay and it is free in the evenings and on Sundays.

The nearest long stay car park is on Castle Terrace – you can find more information regarding rates etc on the NCP website.

If you have a car but do not intend to use it during your stay, we recommend the park and ride options at Hermiston and Ingliston.

Directions:

Getting there from Waverley Railway Station:
Exit station onto Princes Street, turn left along Princes Street and outside the Tourist office (Princess Mall) take the number 36 bus. You must alight on Queens Ferry Road and Drumsheugh Gardens is just after Melville Street on the left hand side of the road. Please then head west on Drumsheugh Gardens towards Rothesay Place. Continue on Rothesay Place and then turn right at Douglas Gardens, and then again at Belford Road. If you then stay on the left side on Belford Road, the apartment will be on your right.

Getting there from the Airport:
Take the Express Shuttle bus or the Edinburgh Tram into the City Centre. Exit bus or Tram at Edinburgh West End/ Shandwick Place. Walk towards Princes Street and then take the first one left onto Queensferry Street. Continue onto Belford Road, if you then stay on the left side on Belford Road, the apartment will be on your right.

Executive car transfer:
We can also organise for an executive car pick up to collect you from the airport and return you at the end of your stay!

Getting there by car:
If travelling from the North continue on the A90 signposted for Edinburgh. Take the exit onto the A90, go through two roundabouts. Turn left at A90/Manor Place where you turn left again after 0.3 miles onto A8/W Maitland Street. Once on this street take the second left onto Manor Place, continue along and then take the second right onto Melville Street. At the end of the street turn left onto Walker Street and head northwest towards Drumsheugh Gardens. Take the 1st left onto Chester Street and then turn right at Palmerston Place. Continue onto Douglas Gardens, and turn right at Belford Road. Slight right to stay on Belford Road and your apartment will be on the right.

If travelling from the South continue to drive on the A1 and take the exit towards Craigmillar/Newcraighall at the roundabout take the first exit onto A6095/Newcraighall Road and continue to Cameron Toll Shopping Centre. Follow the A7 into the city centre and once you have crossed Waverley Bridge turn left onto Princess Street. Once on Princess Street take the second exit into St Andrews Square and follow the road to George Street and continue to end of the road. At the end, turn right and continue to the bottom of the road. At the end of the road turn left onto St Colme Street, follow this road onto Ainslie Place. Head southwest on Ainslie Place towards Great Stuart Street and then turn left at Great Stuart Street. Turn left at Randolph Crescent and turn right at A90/Queensferry Street. Take the 1st left onto Drumsheugh Gardens and continue onto Chester Street. Turn right at Palmerston Place and continue onto Douglas Gardens. At Belford Road turn right, and then slight right to stay on Belford Rd. The apartment will be on the right.
(Please note that if you are driving to the apartment, you can only access Lynedoch Place from Belford Road, and not from Queensferry Street. However, if you are coming by foot, you can access Lynedoch Place from both Belford Road and Queensferry Street.)
